What file types do you need me to provide?
All of our laser cutters, engravers and CNC cutters work from CAD vector files; we prefer .ai or .dxf but can also work with other vectors like .dwg .svg and sometimes .pdf. We can run some engraving from .jpeg as well. If you don’t know what these files are, don’t worry. We can sort out all the artworking for you
Can you help with artworking?
Yes - we love to help. Lots of our clients have brilliant ideas but don’t have the technical know how to use CAD. We’re happy to work from photos, hand drawn sketches, mood boards, scans or even verbal descriptions to create your masterpiece
Can you laser cut metals?
The short answer is we can cut them, but not by laser. We use Winnie the Waterjet for cutting metals. Our CNC can also cut aluminium and brass. Metals can be laser cut, but not on a CO₂ laser cutter. We would be happy to discuss the differences with you between waterjet, laser and CNC
What bed size do your cutters have?
The Waterjet and CNC iare the largest machines - 2440x1220mm or 8x4ft sheets. The CO₂ Laser is 1250x900m for laser cutting and engraving. The fiber meta laser marking machine for fine metal and product marking is 250x250mm. Our plotter for vinyl cutting works with 1200mm wide to any length, as it comes on a roll
What are my options for delivery?
We have a zero-waste van for personal deliveries within London, or we can use one of our logistics partners. We can also arrange overnight parcel services, as well as overseas shipping. Otherwise, collection from our South London studio is no problem within our opening hours
How much will it cost?
Please send us your files via email or Dropbox so we can give you a no obligation quote. As we offer so many different cutting and engraving services and materials we will need to price per job
Do you have any eco material options?
We are constantly looking for new more environmentally friendly materials. We currently use Greencast 100% recycled acrylic where possible, and have some recycled card stock options. All of our wood is FSC certified from sustainable forestry and we recycle as much as possible
Can you make me a one-off job?
We work with individuals as well as companies, so can produce one off pieces. We have a minimum order prices, so often it will be less cost effective than ordering multiples but we always advise on the most cost-effective processes and would be happy to quote for you
Are you hiring?
